DALBIT PETROLEUM
Dalbit Petroleum which is a privately owned total energy solutions provider was first incorporated in Kenya in March 2002. The Company engages in procurement, trading, transport and management of petroleum products within Kenya and neighboring regions through partnerships.
ABOUT CONGO PETROL SARL
Congo Petrol SARL was incorporated in 1997. In 2009, Dalbit Petroleum took over running of the company. Congo Petrol has a well-organized supply chain sourcing products through the ports of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Beira in Mozambique.
Strategically located at the Lubumbashi International Airport, the company services the aviation industry efficiently. Our high capacity storage facilities enables us to efficiently service the mining industry in the Katanga region and other sectors across the country. We deliver the products across the country to far flung areas of Kibali, Twagiza, Lubumbashi, Namoya and many others.
Our depot is one of the only three depots in the Lubumbashi categorized as a public depot allowing us to offer hospitality services under bonded terms and into plane service for two (2) companies one of them being a UN contractor.
We have technical services agreement with Q8 Aviation which audits our facility annually to ensure it remains compliant.
As part of our value addition to our customers, we provide Health and Safety training for staff handling petroleum product, safety audit of facilities, stock reconciliation and also supply fuel dye to enable them check on pilferage.
DISTRIBUTION
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, we supply our products to Lubumbashi in Eastern DRC through our partner Congo Petrol SPRL. Dalbit Petroleum also supplies directly into the North Eastern DRC. We have a well-organized supply chain sourcing products through the ports of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, Beira in Mozambique and Mombasa in Kenya. We deliver the products across the country to far flung areas including Kibali, Twagiza, Lubumbashi, Namoya and many others. Our efficiency and adherence to highest standards of safety and integrity ensures that we deliver our products timely and safely.
TRANSPORT
We have accrued the best qualifications in the industry and maintain the highest international standards in all our fleet management. We take utmost care of our product delivery to ensure it is highly secure and timely. We supply our products through our fleet and reliable subcontracted fleet. The trucks are equipped and modified to traverse challenging terrain, to reach wherever you need your fuel, whenever you need it.
INFRASTRUCTURE & STORAGE
A great part of our total energy solution involves assisting our clients design and build the best storage facilities. This enhances fuel efficiency and safety. We also train our clients on their operations giving them a strategic edge.

Dalbit Petroleum Ltd as an oil and gas operating company, is committed to conducting all petroleum operations in a manner that protects the Group’s employees and contractors personnel from injuries, fatalities and illnesses, as well as having regard to the health and safety of the general public, and protecting equipment and assets in its concessions and operational sites to achieve harmony with the environment and local communities.
The company ensures compliance to all applicable health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) laws, regulations, international industry standards and other related internal and external requirements.
We also apply a systematic approach to HSSE management to achieve continual HSSE performance improvement including setting “SMART” HSSE objectives and performing regular audits and reviews. Dalbit regularly conducts education, training and inter-office awareness activities in order to make staff conscious of their roles and responsibilities regarding HSSE activities.
ENVIRONMENT POLICY
Dalbit Petroleum is committed to developing formal systems and procedures throughout the company to identify potential impacts that may be associated with each petroleum operations and to contain and control any matters to the most practical extent. The Company aims to prevent or reduce discharges, emissions and wastes capable of adversely affecting the living and working environment. The Company conducts environmental impact assessments and audits (including risk assessment, risk mitigation, and contingency planning) on a routine basis in its operations to ensure compliance with regulations in force.
